Can't really say I'm proud of anything, I just feel like a total failure 😒
Next steps are to continue my gap year and try to salvage what I can of my situation.
Most proud of my 9 in maths hehe I was so convinced I was gonna get an 8, next steps is a levels & sixthform yippee 😋🤞🏽
i’m proud of myself for breaking a lot of toxic study habits that weren’t good for me and learning to actually enjoy studying again, as well as finishing a-levels!! my next steps are moving to paris and starting my degree at ULIP

I'm very proud that I achieved 1st on all my university modules, including statistics, which I was convinced was going to be the end of me.

My next goals is to get some work experience going into year 2 of university and then pull the all 1sts hat-trick for the second year running

I'm so sorry to hear this. But it's important to remember we all make mistakes and things often don't pan out the way we want them to. It's ok to grieve if things didn't go your way, but remember that you're not a failure, you just have to dust yourself and reformulate your plan. And if you ever need help with anything, this forum is full of lovely, knowledgeable people who will be more than happy to advice you if you ask.

All the best,
SY
I'm proud of managing to get 4 predicted A*s since my school is being very stingy with predicted grades! I'm entering year 13 and will be applying to study economics at university for entry in 2025!
Personally really proud of my GCSE results especially biology! Next steps are sixth form to do biology, chemistry and maths a level!
I'm proud of my english literature grade as I never would've thought I could get an 8 so I'm really please with that but I'm also really disappointed with my 8 in Spanish because tht was the one subject I thought I could definitely get a 9 in :frown:
Next steps are going to sixth form (I got in to my first choice) to do biology, geography, chemsitry and maths

What am I proud of? Nothing. I've just messed up my A levels and I've had to go through Clearing to decide my university place. I'm happy with the place I've been accepted into, but it's obviously bittersweet, having not been accepted for my firm or insurance choice.

Firm choice - messed up STEP + no A* in Further Maths. Either one of them would've meant they'd accept me.

Insurance choice - no 3 A*s.

I got A*AAA with an A in EPQ.
Most proud of my 100% math score from state tests last year and keeping my record of 90% or above (also proud of finally finishing all the spanish i'll ever have to take lol)
next steps: recover my gyg, get through 9th grade, and finish the new school year with good grades

Your A Level grades are fantastic! It looks like both your firm and insurance choices were highly ambitious so please don’t beat yourself up. I’m glad you’re happy with where you’re going now and I wish you all the best for the future!
Loads of you in this thread are on PRSOM already, or I’d be giving you all rep!

Hi!! This year I'm most proud of getting a mid B in alevel English literature - there were times that I felt I would never make it past a low C, and I'm so so proud of myself for persevering and getting that grade!

My next steps are going off to my firm choice university to study psychology and child development, and I'm really excited!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me on my GYG blog this year, you are all so incredible and deserve every success possible x

I've seen you so much in the maths/further maths/STEP posts and am really sorry for how it turned out, even though you still got amazing grades in the end. I'm absolutely sure that wherever you will go you will be successful as you have an incredible work ethic (I've seen in your GYG) and that will show during university where you will definitely thrive.
aww not me im afraid, my daughter on the other hand..
As we wrap up this academic year (and get ready for a new one) we want to hear from you 👂- what are you most proud of (she graduated with a 2:1 in physics) - what are your next steps? shes off to manchester for a phd in particle physics
I'm most proud of my A* in Welsh! When I expected a B
And for my next steps I will be going to 6th form to study maths, further, physics and DT

Thanks for your kind words...I feel like I was so close yet so far. The worst part is that they're getting rid of the STEP for next year so if my offer were for next year, I would be celebrating. I must be the most unlucky person with regards to admissions this year I swear.

I know I'm probably exaggerating and that there are people with no offers and things like that, but the things that have happened (running out of time while transferring my answers in TMUA, having to do the STEP as part of my offer requirements for Imperial, being rejected from the university I was banking on keeping as my insurance choice, choosing the wrong university for my insurance choice which I realised in hindsight, waiting on the phone when making Clearing calls only to find out that they've filled ALL of their vacancies and it meaning that I'll have to look elsewhere.) are just insane!

I wish you the best of luck too and I'm sure you're going to ace it whatever you aim to do!
