Why can't I see my mark for GCSE English Language?

Hii, so I got my grade for English Language, but I can't find the mark I got for both papers. The grade I got was lower than I expected, and I wanted to look at how far I was off the next grade boundary to see whether I should get a remark. It's really strange because I have the marks for all other subjects, but me (and my friends) didn't get the raw marks for English Language somehow. I asked my teachers, and they said that the script + raw marks can be accessed by teachers only.

+ side question: is it possible to see what I wrote in my exams/scripts? I've checked the AQA online website and they said I require a username and password, which my school cannot provide, so are there any other ways I can access my scripts?

Have you asked the teachers for your raw marks?

Requesting scripts is a paid-for service done through the school. You need to speak to your school's exams officer to say you'd like to request the script and make clear that you're willing to provide the money.

I've asked my teachers, but they said the scripts can be only seen by teachers unfortunately. I'm not sure where the school's exam officer is, but I'll try to make it clear that I'm willing to provide the money and try again. Also, do you happen to know the timeframe for which we can access the scripts?

oh that's unfortunate - for my school requesting scripts was free, they encouraged us to request scripts before making any requests for remarks, and provided a google form where we could ask the school to make a script request. I submitted mine for the subjects I possibly wanted to remark (Biology, 1 mark away from 9) at around 9am, and they got back with my script at 12pm

Every school does it differently. I remember not paying a penny when my exams went off for a review (but that's because the school wanted to do it anyway, just needed my consent). Then again, I remember blackboards and chalk so things do change.
Lots of people dont have their raw mark for English language. No-one at my school has this, also aqa.

I’m in the exact same situation, I was predicted and had been consistently getting 2 grades higher than I ended up getting today. I think you can ask your school exams officer for the raw score, and then decide if you want to get a remark.
