Well for English literature I found the most helpful techniques were to actually just read the text on your own (if you have time left) and try annotate it. Use flashcards to memorise quotes and you should be fine. Especially for AIC focus on contextual clues so try read up on some relevant history too. I didn’t do a Christmas carol, so I sadly can’t help much with that.

For maths - since you’re currently at a grade 4 im assuming that you’re struggling w the content rn. So, I’d suggest you first go over all the gcse content and try to actual learn / understand it all, you can use dr frost maths videos, and a lot of other ones on YouTube or get a tutor or use a textbook. That should get you to a grade 7. After that, it’s all about practice and so just do as many past papers as you can - maths is a lot of practice.

I’d suggest especially for AIC and Macbeth that you get a bit ahead of the class if you can - and I would really really suggest you start planning out quotes and things to talk about for each character etc in your exams even months in advance. This helps you memorise a lot of stuff you can use to get a great answer in the exam + use it on your mocks too
