My A level choices:

Hi guys, I’ve gotten my gcses back today and I’m really pleased! I’ve talked to my teachers and I’m going to get my physics paper remarked and drama written ! But asides from those I’m very happy and I’m doing 4 A levels - Spanish, French, English lit and sociology!!! Super excited to start subjects I actually like and leave maths and science in the past

Congrats on finishing a levels! If you don’t mind sharing what was your final grade in french? The book my school is studying for a level french is No et moi, I’m eager to read a bit and study ahead so I already ordered my copy and a study guide!! I’ve also ordered some grammar and vocab books for a level french, luckily my mum doesn’t mind buying it as she knows how much I love languages! I just hope a levels don’t ruin my love for French and Spanish because I know it’s nothing like GCSEs

Also, do you have any advice for french a level? Is there anything I should do now at the start of year 12 to prepare myself as I really believe I can do well.. is there a way that you organised notes too? As I’ve only bought a large notebook for french

Grammar and vocab books are great! Starting out will feel much easier if you nail the vocab and initial grammar right from the start - this is something I regret not doing properly at the start of year 12.
Generally, I recommend starting to look at vocab on memrise/quizlet and beginning to gather facts/stats for the speaking - normally you can find a lot of pre made stats/facts sets on quizlet 🙂 My teachers gave a lot of print outs so I wasn't making notes from scratch all the time, I organised them into 2 folders to separate AS and A2 content.
Also, I totally get why you're worried about a levels ruining your love for French - for me, doing a-level just made me love French more as the topics and style was more what I was interested in and was more applicable to the real world, unlike gcse French.

Make the most of any opportunities you get at school and go for it!! you've got this

Specifically going to name-drop Action Grammaire it's very comprehensive and seems to explain things in a simple way, with exercises if you'd like to do them. They have Acción Gramática for Spanish too (plus Aktion Grammatik for German for anyone reading this, and potentially one for Italian too?)

There's a counterpart for vocab called Mot à Mot/Palabra por Palabra/Wort für Wort which I also owned but didn't use as much, mainly because I always hated sitting down and learning vocab

I religiously used memrise/quizlet day in day out for vocab rather than getting mot à mot as it was more accessible and worked better for me!
the AQA Grammar and translation book is also good, helped me make HUGE improvement in the listening/reading/writing paper
