Lloyds Banking Group Graduate Schemes 2025 - Business and Commercial Banking

Hi everyone, the 2023/24 chats were helpful but an updated one for this year would be good so I made this one. I am applying for the Business and Commercial Banking graduate scheme this September. Does anyone have any tips on the application process? I understand you have an initial application form and an assessment (with no interview questions). What type of questions would be on that assessment? Is it like the practice strengths and cognitive assessments in the practice zone? Also, no CV is needed but do we still have to upload one or a cover letter?

Oh, from what I remember, the assessment has a Situational Judgment Test and a Personality Test. And it’s not timed, so you can take your time with it.

Have you thought about your strengths yet? I’m not sure what we have to fill out in the application. Is it questions about our motivation for the grad scheme?
schemes are open now!

Hi were there any video interview questions in any of the stages? Thank you in advance
Do we not have to submit a CV or Cover Letter at all?

Yeah they dont ask for either you just need to fill out the application where they might just ask for any work experience.

Hey, anyone applying for the Data graduate scheme? I think I'm fine with the Numerical Q's but how to prepare for the situational Q's and video recorded Q's?

Yeah they dont ask for either you just need to fill out the application where they might just ask for any work experience.

They don't seem to ask for that either? Or at least I can't see it, they only ask about what uni and course you are attending, hope that I do get a chance to showcase my work experience as I've done a placement this past year.

Same I'm hoping so too. I did a placement that's relevant to the role I applied for.

Hi everyone planning to do my first initial tests tomorrow (the ones you get straight after applying) do people know what I can expect from these/ where I might be able to practice similar ones?

I just uploaded my CV to fill in the sections quicker, but yeah no mention of work experience section. Im guessing they'll ask more at a later stage? How is the initial assessment anyway is it just your generic numerical tests and stuff?
