Don’t worry these are good. GCSEs don’t really matter that much when applying to unis it’s mainly Alevels that matter.

How come youre doing 4 a-levels?

I emailed my school to ask if I could do 4 levels and I made this post after I sent it and I didn't hear from them yet so I just out as if this was my options. I got a email however that I couldn't though. I want ask what are the conditions to do 4 levels. Do I need 5 9s or something.
Also I hope your right when you say that I just need good a levels.

I am also going into year 12 - I'm on the edge between doing 3 or 4 a levels. Just know it is a big commitment - you will have less free time, more work compared to your peers and more stress when you actually do your a levels. Your results are good!!! What do you want to do at uni? If you don't want to go into a highly competitive course, I think doing 4 is not worth it, especially when you could get 3 amazing A-Levels instead of 4 mediocre ones. Just food for thought.

Don't take 4 A levels
(edited 1 year ago)
Unless you are confident of getting multiple A/A*’s (or need Further Maths) there’s no point doing 4.

Your GCSE’s are fine for the majority of courses.

Your grades are fine unless you comparing with those students on TV getting all A and A*. If you can manage 4 Alevels plus EPQ then great, more chance of getting your uni entry requirements.

These are great GCSEs don’t worry! Work hard towards your a levels
As someone who’s also doing 4 a levels manage your time well, don’t overwhelm yourself with work! You got this!!

Thank you for your advice! Now I am not doing 4 levels. I am doing English literature, philosophy and economics. I want to get into law or accounting. Could you tell me what aspects of law there are. I know about commercial law but what else

I am also doing epq and I'm thinking about doing the question 'do criminals use insanity as a loophole to punishment'. I really need help about this and if this is the best question.
