Should I get my sociology a level remarked? 2024 results

Hi so I've been almost always an A*/A grade student in socio and I checked my results to find out I got ABB basically a B in sociology. I'm currently taking a gap year but I'm planning to apply to University of Birmingham which has a entry requirement for Law for AAA and I'm eligible for a contextual offer. However I don't know whether to have one paper remarked or have all of them remarked which will cost me £165 in total.
edit: I'm 9 marks away from getting an A

If the grade goes up you will get the money back.

Hi!
I've just applied to have my soc papers remarked as I was 1 away from an A, so I thought I'd share the advice that my school gave to me:

is it worth resitting instead of a remark? I didn't go down this route as I got into uni for Law (I'm not doing a gap year like you, so the time spent etc may be different x)

is the grade close enough to be moved up? Schools usually recommend you are anywhere between 1-4 marks away from moving up as it is a costly process, and there is always a risk of your grade going down.
Whatever you decide, good luck! It's always annoying to receive a grade inconsistent with how you know you usually perform

Try and get a copy of the script of your exam first to be remarked. You can ask for this dependant of them exam board and it’s completely free and you can look through it with a teacher and see if there is a possibility you could go up a grade. There are 3 sociology papers with a chance of each of the questions so it’s definitely worth remarking

UPDATE
Hi everyone
They reviewed the marking and I went up to an A. My reviewed marking is now 174, before it was 158 and I needed to get to 167 for an A! So it was definitely worth to remark, and I get to have my money back too. For anyone else wondering I did AQA Sociology.

Thanks
