Heard of break ins at Highline Building, how unsafe is it actually?

I’m moving to highline from sketch house for my last year at ual as it’s closer to my campus, and I’ve been reading and hearing stories about how flats have been broken into and security hasn’t done anything about it. Is that true? I will be living in a studio and not sure if it will be on ground floor or not (god I hope it won’t, I have enough anxiety already) which i’m assuming will raise the chances of break ins considering it’s also Elephant & Castle lol. Any current experiences of students living at Highline?

Hi, I'm considering Highline for my first year but have also read about robberies there. Did you end up going to highline and if so was this actually a concern? thank you xx

Hi there, i'm moving to Highline this week for my course at Wimbledon. Did you end up going to Highline, or did anyone you know? I'm hoping to get in contact with my flatmates before i move...

Lived in highline last year, the breakins happened on the first floor since it's the one that can be accessed by the back doors (studios are on the first floor), they have installed fire alarms at all fire exits now (unsure why they didn't do it properly). Pro tip for any london residence, get your valuables insured and if you're leaving them behind for a longer time period then do not leave them out in the open, lock them up safely.
