GCSE Provisional Results

Hi, I've just sent my gcse grades to the uni I hold offers at and one has replied saying I need to send evidence of my final grade and to pick my letter up from college, they don't accept provisional grades....but that was the letter from college i got today when results came out. I won't get actual certificates until November I don't know what I'm expected to do. Any ideas? Obviously I'm due to start uni in September but without that I don’t meet entry criteria. I needed a 4 and I got a 7 so it's not like I'm close to not passing or anything for it to be changed. Thanks

You need to explain this to the university and ask if they will accept any alternatives like an email directly to them from your exam centre confirming your results. Or alternatively ask them to try to verify your results on the Learning Records System.

Thank you. It was Huddersfield who queried it, but Man Met have just accepted them as they came, which was my firm choice anyway, so I'm in and enrolled and can breathe a massive sigh of relief 😌
