can i do med with these gcses

my results:
maths - 8
computer science - 5
dt- 6
french-7
eng lang- 6
eng lit- 6 (one off a 7 im getting it remarked)
biology- 8 (3 off a 9)
chem- 8
physics - 7(one off an 8 im also getting that remarked)
rs- 7
is it possible for me to do medicine with these results? i'd ideally want to study at a russel group and i really want to go to kings for university. even if i can't go there are those grades okay to do med? say if i got all A*s and As at alevel? i was really expecting nines but it didn't turn out that way and i really want to do medicine. is there anything i can do in sixthform to make my chances at doing med better?
Yes, you definitely can. Maybe apply to unis that focus less on GCSEs. I would avoid applying to Kings, Oxbridge, UCL and Imperial because GCSEs are a vital part in their admission decision.

Btw, it doesnt matter where you go to Med School - all Med degrees are accredited as equal by the GMC.
There aren't any that are 'better'. The NHS wont ask 'which Uni' - and neither will your future patients. Picking all 'top' Unis that are either in London or just barkingly competitive is the quickest way to get 4 rejections.
