Moving up set

I am in year 10 this year . Can I still move up a set , I want to move up to set 2 English and set 1 physics chemistry and biology ( currently set 3 English , set 2 chemistry physics and biology). Is that impossible ( English predicted grade:6+ science predicted grade:6)

I don't know your school but my school last year changed people that actually needed a change, like let's say you cheated on your year 9 end of years and you end up in the wrong set my school will drop you down or if the year 9 end of years where not a reflection of how good you can do they will change you as well depending if you are doing really good or bad

Like I got the same score in English test and similar score in science test with someone. She is now in set 2 English and set 1 physics chemistry and biology . That’s why I want to move up a set as I want to stay with her. But thank you for ur reply

This just depends on how your school does things, so we can't know, but your best course of action is probably to directly ask your teachers what you need to do to get moved up, and try to get some actionable feedback from them.

idk how your school works but they probably wouldn't move you unless you have just completed a set of tests and had drastically different results to your peers. It also probably depends on your work ethic, predicted grades and how much space there is in other sets. If you really needed to move, you probably would have been already. Maybe email your teachers asking to discuss the possibility of moving.
