Psychology personal statement books?

I’m currently working on my personal statement for psychology, my intrests are primarily within clinical psychology, mental health disorders etc. If anyone can recommend any articles, books, podcasts etc for me to look into based on this topic I would really appreciate it.

The British Psychological society website is a good place to start, they have a podcast and publish up to date research.
Some of the books by Oliver Sacks, for starters, like The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat. That one's a classic although I'd also recommend other books of his such as An Anthropologist on Mars, or even Musicophilia (which is in my humble opinion a hidden, often overlooked gem). I also have other books on my shelf like Madness Explained by Richard P. Bentall, or The Private Life of the Brain by Susan Greenfield.

@thrivingfrog, do you have other recommendations?
