Help - sixth form place

So today I got my GCSE results and they met the requirements for the conditional offer I have to go to a sixth form (my first choice sixth form). Unfortunately though I didn’t realise I had to complete a form by 2pm to book an appointment tomorrow to enrol, and now the deadline is closed and I’m terrified that I’ve lost my place. My mum has phoned and emailed the school but there has been no reply, so we are going tomorrow anyway in hopes to explain to them what happened. Has anyone else had an experience like this and what happened to you?

Luckily the school ended up replying and it was all sorted, and I got enrolled the next day! It was stressful though as I thought I’d lost my place but it turned out fine
