Sixth form

I enrolled to a sixth form to late and the slots were all filled i really want to go to this sixthform is there any way to get in ? I have met all the grade requirements its just there is no space

Ask to be placed on the waiting list and enrol at another sixth form, if a place becomes available you will have the option to switch

If theres no space available for maths and i still go to the sixthform can i convince them to change my subject I picked instead of maths by arguing how much i hate the subject and how hard it is even with no space available.

Unsure about this but it’s worth a shot! If the class is oversubscribed it might be tricky for them to be lenient as you might not be the only one in this position and they dont want to have to let an extra 5 or 10 students into a class and make it basically unteachable! Still I think you should fight your corner as it’s the next 2 years that are going to be impacted for you not for them (possibly longer if you need maths for uni or anything). Best of luck! :smile:
