GCSE results.
so sorry if i’m being stupid rn but i am a little confused with my BTEC grade. On my statement of results, it says i got a grade D2 in child development 1,2 and 3; this means distinction right? On my Pearson statement, it says i have a M2; merit. I cannot post photos here but for reference, i got marks 72, 81 and 74. could someone please help??

I believe D2 means a level 2 distinction which is usually equivalent to a GCSE grade 7.
