Uni Room Advice

Hi,
So I'm going to be living in at Lancaster University next month, and I was wondering what material/tape is best to use on walls/ceilings, when it comes to student accommodation? I want to hang a few things from the top of the walls/ceiling, but I don't know what would be approved by the university, or what would cause the least/no damage, as I don't want to lose my Damage Deposit.

Hi,

The recommendation to avoid damaging paint or leaving oil stains is white tack.

This is what the website says: "Please avoid sticking anything to walls, ceilings, windows or in corridors, and use white tac or pins as appropriate. Remember, you will be charged for making good any marks and damage to paintwork or furnishings."

Here's the link if there's any further information that may be helpful: https://portal.lancaster.ac.uk/ask/campus/living-in-university-accommodation/accommodation-appliances-/
