Pack Smartly - I'd highly recommended to label your boxes and suitcases. It can help avoid confusion and stress of finding things in the chaos of unpacking.
•
Unpack essentials first - It might be a good idea to pack a separate box of essentials that you can focus on unpacking first. And if needed, you can focus on unpacking the rest and setting up your room gradually over the next few days.
•
Plan in advance - You should plan on how and when are you planning to move in at the accommodation in advance. If you are going from home, you can consider taking a few basic groceries with you so that you don't have to go shopping on the first day.

Be flexible - Things don't always go as planned, so try to be mentally prepared for this! And remember - you don't have to unpack everything on the first day itself. Trust me, you will have plenty of time to settle down and get comfortable.
