A levels options

I've gotten a 66 in science when my expected grade was 77. I want to do two science subjects in college but I'm 3 marks away from 76 so I've asked to have my paper remarked. My enrolment appointment is in a few days do you think I could possibly get to do two sciences in college since my exam is being remarked?

I think it depends on the college. I was 1 mark away from a 7 in computer science, and applied for a remark. I let my sixth form know about the remark (as they required a 7 for A-Level), and they let me onto the course before I did finally get the 7.

Additionally some colleges do have a bit of flexibility regarding grades for courses, so it may be worth applying regardless. I know that quite a few people at my sixth form didn't meet the criteria for the courses, so were put on a sort of "trial" to allow them to prove to their subject teachers that they deserved to be on that course.

Good luck on the remark, and I wish you the best!

Thank you 😭😭 I was so worried because chemistry makes it easier for me to have more options for medical schools. Hopefully my college will take my marks and predicted grades to account
