Are these gcses grades enough for a good/higher valued university
Hypothetically if I got As/A*s in Alevels would these grades at gcse hold me back from getting into a great university?
- Maths = C* (I know😭), a B in French and History, and all As in English literature, english language, LLW, Art, Religion, Single award Science.
I plan on doing Art, Life and Health Sciences, and Sociology or Engineering for Alevels.

No you'll be totally fine
You may find a few unis who for specific courses ask for a B in maths - just avoid those ones and you'll be fine if you have the A level grades.Reply 2

You mention Engineering, is that a BTEC as I have not come across A level Engineering. Just be careful if it is a BTEC as some of the top unis will only accept it with 3 A level passes.
