Fresher Events at De Montfort University

Hiya!

Are any of you joining us at De Montfort University this academic year? If so, we are thrilled to welcome you, especially during Freshers Week – it’s going to be an unforgettable start to your university journey :crown:

Some of you might have already grabbed tickets to our Freshers events. But if you missed out on the priority access wristbands, don’t worry – our second release wristbands are still available on our website! :h:

These wristbands give you access to seven amazing core events, including:

Welcome Party: Epic DJ sets, tons of prizes, and an incredible way to kick off your Freshers experience :yay:

MOSH Freshers: A night out at one of Leicester’s biggest and best nightclubs :danceboy:

•

Fat Cats Ibiza Beach Party: Summer vibes, beachwear, DJs, and cocktails - it is an endless summer in the middle of Leicester!

DMU vs UOL Bar Tour: The ultimate nightlife tour of Leicester’s best bars, complete with a free t-shirt and an epic grand finale :beer:

Fat Cats Oktoberfest: A night of great music, themed fun, and ice-cold beers :beerglass:

Mamma Mia Experience: A themed night with an ABBA tribute band, karaoke, and special cocktails – because who doesn’t love Mamma Mia?

Mystery Event: An exciting adventure off-campus for a day of fun and surprises :holmes:

On top of these seven core events, you can personalise your experience by choosing three additional events:

Sessions @ Lvl1: A night of live music in a fantastic setting :blow:

Big Difference Comedy Night: Laugh the night away with performances from top comedians and local talent :laugh:

Glam Jam Drag Night: Spectacular drag performances, lip-sync battles, karaoke, and an inclusive celebration of the LGBTQ+ community

ReRoll Games Night: Unwind with board games and a chill atmosphere

Pool Tournament: Showcase your skills and compete for glory! :king1:

If you’re not interested in the wristband, you can still buy individual tickets for these events. But take a look – the wristband might save you some cash if you’re planning to attend multiple events
