Am I have a chance to get into Oxford? With my GCSEs?

I got 3 9s, 3 8s, 3 7s and one 6 for my first GCSE. The grade 9 subjects are relevant to my A-levels and my chosen University course. Am I able to get an offer? The one 6 subject is English Literature and I am international student.

It mostly depends on what your degree choice is, but for most Oxford courses I would think you’ll be fine.

8’s and 9’s are seen as equivalent and so you have 6 ”A*” grades and 3 7’s (plus a 6, but it probably isn’t at all relevant).

Oxford usually states in their admissions criteria that their applicants are expected to have mostly A*’s and 7’s at GCSE, which you have. You now need to focus on your A levels and nearer the time any admissions tests you will have to do.
