Hi @pearlblazer

Starting Year 13 can be both exciting and stressful, but it’s great to hear that you’re enjoying your courses! It sounds like you’re really passionate about media production and TV/film production, which is fantastic.

Have you thought about what comes next? University might be a great option for you😊

I’m currently studying Film and Television Studies at UEA, and I absolutely love it. The course combines both theory and practical elements, giving you a well-rounded education that’s both engaging and useful. There’s also a good mix of media studies, which keeps things interesting and varied. Over the three years, you’ll gain both the knowledge and the skills needed for a career in the film industry.

The course covers a wide range of topics, including pre-production and post-production, with modules on everything from Hollywood to world cinema—so there’s something for everyone! If you’re interested, you can also combine Film Studies with History or English Literature. Plus, there’s an option to study abroad for a year or to find a placement to give you those additional skills.

If you’d like to know more, here’s a link to the course modules https://www.uea.ac.uk/course/undergraduate/ba-film-and-television-studies

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Best of luck with Year 13!
