Desperate to switch universities for 2nd year, is it still possible and how?

Long story short, i received my A level results of ABD and A in EPQ , and could not get into any of my choices, every clearing call i made rejected me until i made one which is very far from my home at a mid Uni.

Context: I am doing Computer Science at university X which is very far , does not provide good opportunities, the modules are not the greatest and it is very tough for me to attend it everyday with 2 hour commute, expenses. P.S I do not want to move from home.

I do believe i am smart, most of my free time is spent studying and coding as i got a passion for computer science, i read books, videos, you name it, i just do not get the opportunities that would help me reach my potential. I just completed my first year and achieved 80%+, in my programming exam scoring 100%. I just got quite unlucky in my A levels hence i could not get accepted into a good uni to begin with.

So i am very, very desperate to get into any university that is better than mine but also close to my home (East London), i have emailed so many universities but they either do not accept year 2, or they do not accept year 2 for computer science, or they are full. I

I know i am so late but i have been trying everything and i am stuck on what to do, i keep trying but i am running out of options now, what can i do?

I appreciate all the help!
To transfer into year 2 you normally need to meet the normal year 1 entry requirements, have good year 1 results and have year 1 content that matches closely between the two courses.

It sounds like you likely don’t meet that first criteria.

If you want to transfer then you would be better off looking for entry into year 1, using your current first year to supplement your A level results.

Any idea at all on who i should be calling or emailing? I have even asked for first year entries but no one seems to accept me

1st year entry is just a clearing application. Explain you've got university study as well as your A levels.

If you're fixed on London and comp sci then your options are going to be very limited
