URGENT - Should I appeal my GCSE english LIT

I've sat AQA GCSE English literature and I've got my results yesterday.
I've got 120 marks out of 160 which is a 7. To get an 8 I need 121 marks.

I'm 1 mark off an 8. Should I appeal or is it too risky?
Worth a shot I would say, especially as its an essay subject and you’re only one mark off
I was six off for biology 9 should I do it

Essay subjects are less likely to go up a single mark as the review of marking only checks that it's in the correct band (i.e. if the band is 20-25 marks and you were given 20 then even if the new marker thinks it is 25 the mark does not change as the band is correct)
Not to say it won't go up, but it's no longer the case that essay subjects move quite so much:smile:

That's quite a long way, I'd get a priority copy of your papers back and review before sending anything off

When you say risky, do you mean because you are worried that your grade will go down? Because that's extremely unlikely.
