Is it possible for me to study Computer Science at Oxford?

I am a GCSE student and I got a Grade 8 in Maths but got a Grade 9 in Further Maths and a Grade A in FSMQ Add Maths. I've had an older family friend who was rejected to study Computer Science at Cambridge since he got an 8 instead of a 9 in GCSE Maths which now scares me since I just got an 8 in GCSE Maths, but unlike him I have top grades in harder qualifications. So are my chances at Cambridge still ruined?
How do you know he got rejected since he didn’t get the 9 in Maths and it wasn’t other factors?

Hard agree!💯Cambridge view things holistically so ps,GCSE grades, predicted grades and interview scores are all looked at.Your friend could just have had a poor ps or interview. No point being scared.Cambridge is highly competive and most people are rejected ultimately so either give it a go or don't.,You have 4 other choices and are getting great grades.
