Our BSc (Hons) Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry course is Royal Society of Chemistry accredited and provides the specialist skills and understanding you’ll need to pursue a future in drug discovery. We’ve developed the course with the pharmaceutical industry in mind – ensuring that our curriculum covers all the skills and strengths that employers demand, and that our placements offer the practical experience on which you can build a career.
You’ll focus on areas like drug testing and efficacy, drug design and quality control of pharmaceuticals.

The course is based in our new Dalton building which has state of the art facilities and purpose built teaching and research spaces for each subject.

Graduates of this course have gone into careers in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, materials, and food and drink.
