What grades did you get in those 7 GCSEs?

not realistic.
You would have to dedicate much of your year 12 to redoing most of your GCSEs and you definitely wouldn't be able to get A*s at A-Level by the end of year 13. You can resit a couple GCSEs but it's not worth it for ones unrelated to your A-Levels or degree course and if you only got 6-7s over the past few years it's unlikely you will be able to get them all to 9s.

I'm not going to lie, not very. If you got the grades you need for your next step, which obviously seems like A Levels, I don't see why you need to resit basically all of your GCSE's. Unless you failed Maths and English Language, I'd say don't bother because at the end of the day if you haven't failed the two most important ones and you've got the grades to get onto your A Level courses I personally don't see any reason to resit. Just focus and work hard on your A Levels and you'll be fine 🙂
