Please i need advice medicine

Hiya, the med schools I think I will be applying to are UCL, Imperial, KCL and Bristol. Would someone mind evaluating my choices based on my grades to see if I actually have a good chance of getting an offer? My GCSEs are 999988777766 but all 4 9s are resits sadly, I have no extenuating circumstances for resitting. My A-level predicted grades are A* A* A* in bio, chem and maths. I also achieved an A* in my EPQ. My UCAT is very high; 3400 B1. I have relevant work experience, volunteering and super curriculars. I have many extra-curriculars including bronze and silver dofe, grade 8 LAMDA.

If someone has any experience with medicine admissions could you pls tell me whether I have a good shot at my uni choices.
You have a chance, but obviously medicine is extremely competitive. If you want to reduce the risk, pick a few options that are more safe, that you think you have a better chance to get into, in case you don't get a place at the more competitive unis.

Ok thank you, but my GCSEs don’t pose an issue to Imperial, UCL and Bristol right?

Check if they say anything about resits, some unis don't like them much.

I think you have a decent shot, but I would emphasise the importance of "safety options" in case something doesn't go to plan with your main choices, as these are all very competitive universities.

but i mean base don everything else, u have a decent shot, tho i suppose for ecas, if ur not out of time, try doing smth more. it might not be too helpful as unis want long term commitment, but try founding some kind of society in ur school, maybe a neuroscience one for example, then let ppl apply to join, once u have it, use ur drama skills to put on a play with the society and the money for the tickets goes to idk alzheimers donations.thats just an example of smth more u can do.

Ok ty, I found out that imperial accept gcse resits and don’t look at GCSEs so phewww, UCL accept gcse resits and don’t look at GCSEs past minimum requirements, Bristol accept gcse resits and don’t weight GCSEs heavily. KCL however weigh GCSEs heavily and only accept if there are extenuating circumstances so I probably shouldn’t apply to KCL. I’m only one of the few people in my school that want to do med/dent so creating a society won’t rlly work. However I’ve done stuff out of school. During Diwali season I catered for festivals and functions, the money I received was sent to a cancer research centre. I tutored for gcse maths. I’ve baked for an Alzheimer’s charity. I’ve volunteered at a care home. Idk if that’s enough
