Transferring

hi

I got my A levels, but in May I had personal issues and I was not in a good mood for exams, and I didn’t do most of the past papers then I ended up with A*BBC. (expecting A*A*A*A)
I haven't gone through clearing yet. so, I lost lots of my options now I don’t have many options left and unis with grades BCC or lower are left.
my questions are
1. what is the best thing I can do, I am nearly 20 (so I don't want a gap year).
2. can I transfer to another uni within only 3,4 months of studying or do I need to finish a year to transfer?
3. I want to go to Imperial, UCL or KCL do I need to retake A-levels while studying in uni?
4. what else are these universities looking for in my application to the second year? (grades in university or A-levels)
1. based on what you put in Q3 you need to resit your A levels. Those universities aren't likely to accept many if any transfers into year 2 so if you go to university now you're wasting your money
2. No you can't transfer mid year
3. No you need to retake your A levels....don't go to university or start a course and try to do that AND resit
4. They really don't accept year 2 entry
In the last 5 years Imperial have taken 0 students into yr 2, KCL have taken about 20 students a year, UCL about 5 students a year
