tips to not be stuck on a certain grade?

i’m going into yr11 and for most of my subjects i’ve been stuck on a certain grade each mock for example

Edexcel maths - 4
AQA food tech - 5
AQA RS - 3
AQA science - 33 ( i do combined)

does anyone have any tips or can anyone like tutor me to help bring up my grade?

I think u need to implement a better revision technique. For combined science I would suggest watch free science lessons because he is LITERALLY the best resource for GCSE combined science make notes or flash cards from his videos and then do PAST PAPER QUESTIONS I can’t stress you enough how important they are. For maths watch GCSE maths tutor he LITERALLY saved my grade and also do past paper questions and the best website to get past paper questions is MATHS GENIE all of the topics are organised into categories. Please do not respond to any offers of tutoring - you have no idea who theses people are.

There are plenty of good free wesbites and you also need to ask your teachers for help.

You could try MathsMadeEasy - it has science and Maths

As above, don’t rely on random people on the internet to tutor you.

You have had some excellent resource recommendations for your subjects and so I think it’s best to now look at how you are currently approaching studying the aforementioned subjects.

Maths is a matter of practicing routinely. You can do this with past papers and using the mark scheme and examiner’s reports to understand what approaches you need to take and how to avoid falling for common errors.

The sciences are very similar to maths - practice makes perfect, examiner’s reports are exceptionally useful and ensure you know your definitions (physics and maths tutor is brilliant for this).

RE is an absolute d*ck of a subject and I absolutely hated it and couldn’t get the hang of it when I was required to study it. Because there are a fair few essays involved, have you asked your teachers if they have a recommended structure for you to follow, (i.e my teachers generally advised an introduction, followed by a point in favour of your view, then a contrasting view held by a different belief system, then a refutation to the above and a conclusion).

Food tech I can’t advise on - you may wish to specify whether it’s the theory or practical side that’s dragging you down so others may be able to advise.
