Is 4 advanced Highers too much

I got my higher results and I got 5As in chem physics bio English and maths. This year I'm taking chem bio physics and maths in advanced higher and I'm wondering if it's way too much. I don't want my grades to drop lower than As and Bs in them, should I drop one? If so, which one would you recommend for me to leave? Thank you!

I would definitely say to drop one. I did 3adv higher and a higher last year which was quite a bit of work! still manageable and possible to do very well in however at the end of the day it completely unnecessary to get into uni. Scottish will accept you based on higher and English will ask for a maximum of 3As. im assuming you're looking for the best possible grades and by dropping one you give yourself the best chance- as for which one to drop you'd have to mix of your personal strengths and others opinions (I did humanity subjects so have no advice unfortunately)

4 AH’s is fine. Just do a bit of work at home throughout the year and you should get 4 A’s. You probably don’t need 4 but you could just do the 4th one for fun.
if you think you’re capable of doing it, go ahead! But to be on the safe side, if you don’t want to drop grades, take 3. You’ll only ever need 3, whether applying to uni in England or Scotland.
