should i retake my alevels

i did psychology politics and media and applied for law with AAA predictions but right before alevels i decided to reject all my offers and do a gap year

results day came and i got ABB and i can’t help but feel disappointed especially since my Bs are in my best subject (psych) and what should be my easiest subject (media)

i want to apply for politics and international relations this time round but the unis im interested in such as bristol and warwick have AAA requirements and even though im eligible for contextual i can’t help but feel i don’t have a chance and that i should retake psychology alevel and pick up sociology instead of retaking media and fix my grades but at the same time im just so tired

if it matters im also undergoing an adhd assessment currently which will probably take forever but i’ve struggled with similar symptoms since i can remember and they have impacted my performance at gcse ( i got 77666665) and alevel

i have emailed the unis but to no response so i just wanted to ask here to see if you guys have any opinions or advice

These are cracking grades and I am sure something can be done with them. I’d keep pursuing admissions tutors. Maybe try a few phone calls seeking admission advice

Pursuing Admissions tutors.
What exactly do you mean, and how do you think this will get you into Uni?

So, it is in my experience possible to get advice from uni before making an application. OP has their grades and from what I hear on the news unis a keen to fill or even overfill their courses

I think you might need to go to some University Open Days and find out how University Admissions actually works.

I spoke to uni departments before clearing and got useful advice.
