Paid my accomodation deposit with Monzo but want to switch to another bank

I have put Monzo as my main account for student finance and I paid my accomodation deposit with my Monzo account but I want to switch to a NatWest student account since having an interest free overdraft would be handy but I'm kind of worried that I've left it too late and that now I'll have to pay for accommodation and everything with my Monzo account. I haven't set up direct debit btw yet.

If you log on to your student finance account, click on the 'personal details' tab , the option to change bank details is at the bottom. As the payment hasn't been processed it won't be too late to change your details.

You should also be able to change your bank details for your accommodation. Each university is slightly different with how payments work, but I know at YSJ you change these details on e.vison. I'm not sure if the uni your at has e.vison but you should be able to change your bank details on there. I wouldn't have thought there would be an expectation, that you would have to set up direct debit or any payments with the same bank account. You can always contact the accommodation team at your university, if you have any concerns regarding this, and they should be able to let you know.
