year 12: sixth form or college

so i have been offered a place at a sixth form after being on the waiting list but now i am so confused as to where to go.
I'm doing bio, chem and psychology btw
Option 1 is a college and option 2 is a sixth form btw. Option 2 is very strict abt dress code, piercings and all that stuff which is sort of annoying but it has really good alevel results and is outstanding on ofsted. Option 1's grades aren't AS good only some people get A*/As (which is what i will need) but it is obviously much more relaxed.
The thing is I want to go somewhere that is academic so i am arround likeminded ppl but i am also worried about burn out of sixth form if it is too intense. The though of going to a smaller, close-knit sixth form where everyone knows everyone is something i like the idea of compared to a massive college. I also like that I would probably get to know my teachers better due to smaller class sizes.
I also like that the sixth form (2) has a medicine, vet medicine and dentistry society which i think i would be interested in.
I want to go somewhere where I have the chance to take on stuff like leadership roles and extra oppurtunities
But Option 2 is a 20 min train journey followed by a 20 minutes walk away. Option 1 is 2 buses and a 50min journey
I am seriosuly so stuck this is such a hard decision

tbh id go for option1 if i were u. acdemics dont really matter if your mental health isnt at its best . u can achieve these grades through your own hard work.

you're doing pretty hard a-levels i suggest you go to sixthform. the burn out would happen regardless of college or sixthform bc A-levels are hard and it requires a lot of work to achieve A/A*s. tbh i have a few friends that went to college and they said it wasc a bit harder to make friends bc the college is just so big. so if you're super worried about that then yeah maybe a smaller school might help but if youre generally a social person then it doesnt even matter
