LSE

This might be a dumb question but i’d rather get an answer now. i am predicted to get an AAA for math, economics and business. However, during my as level i wasn’t able to do well in business unit 1 which i did a resit for the same year and everything else was fine. Would LSE immediately reject me even if i had a great personal statement and teacher recommendations?

Your biggest handicap from the information you have provided is that you need an A* in maths, not an A. (And to have taken FM to at least AS level if your school offer that subject.)

You would require A* in Maths, as well as A* or A in Further Maths and only then would LSE regard Business Studies and Economics as acceptable subjects!!! ☹️

Which other universities are you considering?

Which degree course at LSE? 😧 I wonder which other courses you're applying to at your other 4 choices?

LSE expects a 'stellar' UCAS Personal Statement, so work hard to stand out from the crowd. 😉
