Backups to uni

I am going to university in September, however I am not entirely passionate about going to university and I don’t feel entirely ready.
I am going since my family really wants me to go, and I don’t want to regret not having tried it later in life. I’m going to do BA Primary education with QTS. My family don’t want me to take a gap year.
If I decide to drop out I am thinking of doing a L2 Teaching Assistant course then doing a Level 3 later on.
Is becoming a TA a good career and would I get stability from this?
