The most important part of the personal statement is to show off your skills and how you can apply them to the course you want to study, your lab experience is an opportunity for you to share your passion for science and the skills you gained from that experience, how you grew because of it. Unis want to hear about how you will succeed in their course because of who you are as a person, your skills, qualities and personality are what you want to show them. Don't forget to involve your extracurricular activities, no matter whether they are related or not they can still show your unis that you can work in a team, have time management skills and much more!

Hope this helps!

Hi try to explain why you are so passionate about this subject. You have to convince them that you have what it takes to succeed.

Best of luck.
