How long does CAS issuance take for international students within the UK?

Hi! I’m an international student applying for the SQE LLM program from within the UK, and I submitted my documents on 21 August before the deadline on 26 August. Now I am hearing horror stories about them not issuing CAS on time and am worried I won’t get it before the CAS issuance deadline on 2 September. How have other people’s experiences been with this?
Hi there! It’s completely understandable to be concerned, especially after hearing stories from others. The process of issuing a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) can sometimes feel stressful, but experiences vary from person to person. Many students do receive their CAS on time, especially if they’ve submitted everything correctly and early, as you did. Since you submitted your documents well before the deadline, you should hopefully be in a good position.
A tip would be to reach out to the admissions team at your university to confirm the status of your CAS, as they can sometimes provide updates or reassurance. If there are any delays, they might also have processes in place to help students in your situation.
Just keep in touch with the university, and hopefully, you’ll receive the CAS in time! Good luck, and I hope everything works out smoothly for you!
