Gcse and mental health

Im terrified my mental health will be the reason I don’t do as well as I want in my GCSES
I feel low.. I have mood swings… i have thoughts which are always changing…

How will i get any where in life if i have moments where i simply stop caring about my life future and education…

How will i get any where in life when i am a lazy, weak , faliure…

I hate my mind..

Im safe and am able to keep myself safe
Hi There

We hear that you are living with Mental Health which you think could have an impact on your GCSEs. Feeling low and navigating mood swings can be really difficult without any support. Your GP might be able to offer you some support around this so we encourage you to have a chat with them if you haven’t already.

It sounds like you are being really quite critical of yourself so we encourage you take a look at the self-esteem and confidence resources on the Mind website. Often talking through how we are feeling with someone that we trust can be helpful. This could be with a Friend, Family Member, or even your favourite Teacher.

It is really great to hear that you are safe and that you are able to keep yourself safe. If you are feeling like suicide is an option then you can call Hopeline247 on 0800 068 4141 or Text us on 88247 to speak with a trained Suicide Prevention Adviser who will be more than happy to help 💟
