GCSE English Literature ❗️❗️

hi,
my school makes u do eng lit gcse in y10. I got a 5 and literally didn't revise properly at all and didn't try in the exam because I felt so burnt out and I was shocked to see this. no matter what grade I got I decided I was going go resit as I know I can do much better. my school however does not let you resit them in y11. i have a few questions:
is it possible to resit this gcse as its not like the main ones like lang is?
could I perhaps resit this in y11 as a private candidate somewhere else without school being involved in the process rather than doing it when I begin college (I'm not sure if college would let me take it their?).
how much around would it cost to resit this type of gcse I can't seem to see prices anywhere on Internet?

Hi so you can resit any gcse however you will need to resit it privately and sit it in November I’m also re sitting 3 GCSEs ( I have passed them) however they were not good grades. How ever my parents won’t let me know the price of the re sits so when I find out I’ll let you know
