I've just applied for Nursing for university through clearing. I want know how it's like to be a nursing student (especially childrens) because there is only so much I can get through watching videos online. Since I know there will be placement during the course, is there a way keep a part time job during the days or even during term time?

Yes, you will be able to keep a part time job. Many student nurses work on 0 hour contracts as HCAs (known as "nurse bank) - you get to pick up shifts as and when you're available around everything else you're doing. Other good sources of income are bar work and retail.
