Went down at GCSEs compared to mocks

I barely revised for mocks and got 8’s across the board, and a 9 in chem, bio, Geog, and both Lit and Lang. However, for GCSE’s I revised my ass off coz I wanted all 9’s.

Unfortunately, at results day I got 8 in almost everything and a 9 in Geog(yay) but I went down to a 7 in Bio, Chem and both English’s.
Now this wouldnt be too much of a problem except that for A-Level I’m doing Bio, Chem and Geog and I wanna go into Vet Med but I fear that with a 7 in Bio and Chem at GCSE it will make A-Level’s harder. Also I know that VetMed is rlly competitive and if I’m against ppl who r getting 8’s and 9’s then I am at a disadvantage. I was considering Cambridge but I think that’s definitely out of the question now.
I just can’t see myself doing anything other than being a Vet…
Idk…

Your GCSEs don't affect your university application, especially if these are 7-9. Just revise for your A levels and you will be fine.
