Are my grades good enough for accounting or finance at LSE or Oxbridge?
Hi guys,
These are my GCSE results:
Maths - 9
Physics - 9
Biology - 9
Chemistry - 9
Psychology - 9
Economics - 8
English Literature - 8
English Language - 8
Further Maths - 8
Spanish - 8
I wanted to know if these would be considered strong grades as the course is very competitive and I’m still considering getting a remark for english lit but for economics would the remark be worth it as I was 5 marks off a 9 and will they really care about if I got an 8 or 9 in econ when looking at my application because I feel like a levels are more important to them but if you guys could give me advice on if i should get it remarked I’d appreciate it

Congrats on a good set of GCSEs. These will be beneficial to you in applications to LSE and Oxbridge etc. Regarding the remark, five marks is quite a lot, so perhaps run it by a teacher first to see if they think it will go up at all and decide based on that.

No good for Oxbridge - they don't offer these degrees.
