Hi! Going into year 11 this year- would love to know how you revised for history since it’s the subject I struggle most to revise for (not motivated enough to write out full essay answers every time I revise lol). Congrats on your results!
Hi
Can i have the resources to maths and english please
Hello. I would like to ask how you revise for physics, biology and further maths. Currently my weakest subjects.

hey! i also struggled w history (i was getting 6s cuz i just didn’t understand at all how to approach the subject)

i would say focus first on revising all your content; i did edexcel so i bought the revision guide with summary notes and based all my answers off of that information so i didn’t have to make my own notes

for structured essays i followed my teacher’s format - if you’d like i can share them with you but ill need to find them 😭 ( basically it was just a lot of linking back to the question and providing TONSSS of knowledge and explanation)

if you’re good at waffling i’d say that helps a bit too especially when the questions are very vague

and in the exam, you should always write until your hand drops off… if still have time to look around at other people you’re doing it wrong (for me at least lol)

Hello. I would like to ask how you revise for physics, biology and further maths. Currently my weakest subjects.

for physics and bio: i basically did all past papers and loads of practice questions from physicsandmathstutor and when i didn’t understand content i watched freesciencelessons and captain physics because they get straight into the specification. i recommend u print out the spec and base your learning off there and use it as a checklist so that you don’t get surprised in the exam when they ask about a very small section that many have not learnt. also when i marked my papers i made sure to make a document of every question i got wrong and memorized how the wording of the mark scheme

further maths: questions and past papers r ur friend. my fave website is first class maths because they have video explanations on topics and because they provide so many questions! if u can, plz do papers from the old spec as well because they do help familiarize with different question styles )

i did lots of questions from statsacademy it's probably the best website for GCSE stats! harder topics like binomial distribution and normal distribution i say just keep doing questions until you understand! and i always made sure my answers sounded like the mark scheme by kinda memorizing the wording

do you think further maths is worth it? I'm predicted 9 in maths and I've been getting pretty good in my maths exams. some people say it's not worth it but I'm only doing 9 gcses and I think having 10 would be good. also do you have any resources for further maths? ty

if ur good at maths it's 100% worth it! further maths is like pretty much algebra anyways with a bit of calc and geometry here and there. i think 9 gcses are good but 10 is even better if u want to stand out in uni apps (however it really depends on the grade u get) my faveeeee website is firstclassmaths; so many practice questions with video solutions and explanations! plz also do past papers from the old spec (2019 and below) because they help consolidate ur knowledge
