GCSE and dentistry

I got 9 for all my GCSE apart from English language, got a 5.
I have appealed and will resit just in case appeal failed.
Please can you tell me if an English resit for dentistry is acceptable or frowned upon by unis.
Was anyone in the same situation than me and got accepted.
I am really worried.

Many thanks

Check the dental schools websites for more information or call them, this is the best way to know whether they'd accept resits or not
