Should I apply to Cambridge?
I’m an international student from dubai currently doing my a levels, i’m predicted 3A* and I want to apply to cambridge to study economics. I’m aware that the competition for cambridge is very high and they really want you to take further maths A level, however my school doesn’t provide that so instead i will be self studying it at AS level only. I also have a lot of supercurriculars, and have really good gcse scores. Im definitely applying to LSE, but I wanted to know if I would have a good chance of getting into cambridge if i applied and if I’d get disadvantaged for taking only 3 alevels and not doing further maths🤷🏻*♀️. Please help me out because Im currently so indecisive and I’m scared that I’ll get rejected from both LSE and Cambridge if i applied.
It sounds like you have strong grades and strong extracurriculars. You don't lose anything if you apply, and I'm wishing you luck! You should do it
