Does anyone have tips for self-studying maths

I'm Y10 entering Y11. I would like to self-study the rest of my GCSE Maths course before entering Y11. Does anyone have any good study methods and tips for this?

Past papers. A lot of past papers. Review your answers and aim to reattempt questions that you got wrong in light of learning what you learnt. This presumes you have covered the entire syllabus before attempting the past papers.

More importantly, why do you want to complete your whole GCSE Maths before entering Year 11? I might understand if you want to reserve more time for the other subjects, but if it's not for this then I would question why you are doing this.

Hey! I just finished my GCSEs - with a 9 in HL Maths.

Study methods work best for different people, so first, I'd start with different methods and see which one works best for you (one that helps you memorise more).

From my perspective, I went through all the units in the textbook, asking questions on each topic. If I understood it perfectly well, I'd skip to the next section. Afterwards, I do past papers (as much as I can!) and try to beat the score/result I get from each past exam paper.

I hope everything goes well for you!
