Clubs

Starting Y12/college in a couple of weeks in a new building with no one I know. I'm planning on joining the volleyball club which is a definite, and I want to join quite a few clubs to make friends. But of course I'll still be studying and I'll have less time to dedicate to the clubs as the year goes on - especially if I join more. How many clubs is a good amount to be in to have friends but also to balance studies on the side?

Hi. I only joined badminton club and was able to make quite a lot of friends. For me, I found it quite hard to balance one club with 3 A-levels as my timetable meant I had a full day on mondays and my choices meant I had to run across campus to get to lessons in sweat. So, I would say just the one is enough and maybe if you have the time, join more as the year goes on?
