Where to apply with sjt band 3

My ucat score is 2860 but with band 3 in sjt, are there any universities that would be okay with this or any to avoid applying to in particular? Im currently looking at UEA, Anglia ruskin, liverpool, lincoln and Southampton. Thanks.

Im not entirely sure, some will give you a chance but you could
1. Check the websites they usually write the UCAT req under entry requirments
2. Call or email the university in questions and ask the admission what the sj req is

Would be hard to get into Lincoln without a band 1, everyone in my cohort had band 1

Hi there,

It’s great you are looking at multiple universities 😊

On our Medicine webpage, we state: While we include the UCAT score within our selection process, we do not have a standard cut off value. It does depend on the year. I would suggest reaching out to our Medicine Admissions team for specific questions around UCAT and the entry requirements:
📞 01245 687906
📧 [email protected]

We also have a general Admissions team too:
📞 +44 (0)1245 686868
📧 [email protected]

Have you visited us at an Open Day? Our next one is on Saturday 5th October. You can come down and speak with the Medicine lecturers and students, look around the facilities and see if we are a good fit for you. Please do feel free to book your place today 😊

Best of luck!
Jemma
