Are my GCSEs good enough for Law at a Russell Group University?

I just received my GCSE grades:

English Language: 9
Music: 9
English Literature: 8
History: 7
Spanish: 7
French: 7
Maths: 6
Science: 6-6
Drama: 6
Religious Studies: 6

And I'm worried that they aren't good enough to get into a Russell Group Uni for LLB Law and Spanish, as I've seen most applicants have 8s and 9s. I'm taking History, Spanish, and Economics- if I do well on those A-Levels will my GCSE results matter?

Personally I don't understand why any university, including Oxford and Cambridge, care about GCSEs.

I'd say you're in a strong position with your GCSE grades considering your essay subjects were your highest grades which is especially important since you want to go into studying law.

Focus on doing well in your A-levels, look to the future, and try and get the highest predicted grades possible since the requirements for law are very competitive in terms of A-level.
